Abstract Painting Commissions

Rebecca typically works on 1-2 commissions per month. Depending on her current studio workload and client communication, commissions are usually delivered within 8-10 weeks after their scheduled “start” date. Commission workdays are officially secured on our studio calendar with a signed contract and 50% down payment.

The sizes listed below are a common range to get you started. It’s recommended that clients use masking tape to mark out on the wall the largest piece possible for a space—then scale down from there to find your sweet spot. Canvases can be built in any size and ratio... Oblong, square, or extra large, just ask! Pricing is based on size.

Clients are required to provide one past painting to be used as reference for each commission. Specific colors, textiles, or your home interior can be used as an additional inspiration. Rebecca is comfortable working from very little or a lot of direction depending on client needs and comfort levels.

Pricing typically falls between $2–5k depending on painting size. Invoices can be split into 3-4 payments as needed. The remaining balance is due prior to painting delivery or shipment. For shipment or delivery outside of middle Tennessee, a quote will be provided dependent on painting size and distance. You can expect a delivery fee between $100–$350 for deliveries within the 48 contiguous states. International rates can also be provided.

Paintings are made on 1.5” gallery wrapped canvas and can be hung as-is, framed by our team in studio, or framed later by a third party. You can see more details on our thin-line, natural oak float frames and order samples here.
